Who we are

Our story:
With a degree in law and time spent in the Manchester music scene, Arthur Magee developed a walking tour that was about the positives in his native Belfast. The key to the tour was relating Belfast to it's visitors, the walls and bridges we have and the choices we make. The concept has been through various formats but is now a walking tour and show "There's More to Belfast than Walls" which has garnered awards and praise. The strong educational nature of the show lead to more frequent contact with schools, colleges and universities who undertook the tour as part of their time in Belfast. The positive nature of the experience, lead to requests to organize additional tours and Arthur created Experience Belfast using his local knowledge and unique perspective to provide more engaging activities for students, reflecting our core ethical values. Success breeds success and more requests were made, this time to organize tours of Ireland which is why Experience Ireland exists.

We understand that irrespective of our backgrounds, we share a common humanity and we look to celebrate this; examining what we have in common rather that what divides us.
